Where is the thermostat on a 2001 Dodge Caravan?

I want to change the thermostat on my 2001 Dodge Caravan but can't locate it. Can someone please help walk me through it.

On most cars with slight variations the thermostat is located in a metal housing where the top hose from the radiator meets the engine. Make sure the engine is cool, drain some or all the coolent from the radiator. Look for the housing close to the radiator. It should have two bolts or nuts and studs on each side. Remove these and lift straight up. Replace the therostat and gasket. Sealing compound should not be hecessary. Usually a symptom of a bad thermostat is the engine running too cool. Too hot usually means something else is wrong.
