I have no heat in my 2000 ford Taurus. I have flushed the heater core and changed the thermostat.?

Car warms up. Vaccum lines seem to be working. Any other ideas. The air coming out is VERY cold like it is air conditioning air.

behind the dash there is a thing called the blendoor, it is a door thet basicly opens and closes on the heater core to either let heat into the vents or block heat from entering your vents, these always brake on fords. yours is stuck closed to the heater core. have this checked.

Make sure the a/c is not on, maybe the a/c switch is stuck in the on position
Feel the heater hoses.

1) hoses warm, heater cold, probably a broken/not working air door in the heater air box, or control broken.

2) hoses cold, system air locked, bleed cooling system.

3) hoses still cold after bleeding cooling system, get your wallet out, head gasket(s).
