Changed the thermostat and can not seem to get water past the thermostate into the block ?

Read about the air bleeder and open what I thought was it. Loacation is on top of the engine where the upper hose meets the engine. Took out the termostate and water flows just fine.

The coolant is suppose to go from the engine to the radiator through the thermostat.
If the thermostat was not the factory style with a bb bleed hole then you need to drill a small 1/8%26quot; hole in the thermostat. Factory style is recommended though.
